Mr. Micah Hydeman is a Firefighter/EMT with the Kansas City Kansas Fire Department (KCKFD). He began his career in 2006 at the Manhattan Fire Department. He joined the KCKFD in January of 2021. He is assigned to Pumper 1. While serving in the capacity of a suppression unit, Pumper 1 specializes in Urban Search and Rescue. Micah serves in other roles and responsibilities include: 

• Rescue Technician

• Haz-Mat Technician

• Fire Instructor

• Criminal Fire Investigator II.
